The
therapeutic use of gaseous CO2 subcutaneously or
percutaneously, can be done by means of the unit we have designed,
which distributes controlled CO2 with doses in Cm3 and distribution
cycles of gas. CO2 is a gas that consists of two
elements: carbon and oxygen, which are congruent with the elements
that make up the universe. The CARBOXI DERMOCELL
unit allows the use of the gas in a safe manner. This novel technique
combined with the latest technology, makes it a powerful tool for
the medical and aesthetics field. The use of high quality elements,
the incorporation of high precision sensors and the manufacture under
strict quality control requirements, allows the guarantee of a high
performance machine for the professionals of medicine and aesthetics.
This equipment is completely digital and enables the user to manage
and control the treatment variables.
This technique was created in 1930 at the thermals of Royat, France.
There, a group of cardiologists started research with patients who
suffered from functional periferic arteriopathies, finishing with
excellent results. In 1953, the cardiologist Jean Baptiste published
a research report with about 20 years of experience with carboxitherapy.
The statistics of the cardio research institute of Royat-France in
1994, state that about 30.000 patients affected by peripheral arteriopathies
of different etiologies received positive results at the functional
level. Another great advantage of CARBOXITHERAPY that has been discovered
is hat it is a very effective technique in aesthetic treatments.
CO2
is administered at subcutaneous level through a needle of 30g that
is placed in the sampling line. The control of the distribution is
carried out by means of a pedal and when pressing it, the selected
dose from the equipment is released. The dosage is released in increments
of 10cm3; for example from 500cm3 to 490cm3.
During the administration of CO2, a subcutaneous
emphysema will be present that extends approximately in an area of
10cm in circumference. An eritema can follow with a heat sensation,
which is the evidence of the effect and the vascular activity of the
gas.
Subcutaneously, the CO2 causes a vasodilation of
the subcutaneous microcirculation. Oxihemoglobin will immediately
be supplied to the body with O2 after having injected CO2.
It is believed that there is a discompensation for the quantity of
O2 increased in the area. As a result, vasodilation
and the increase of the local oxygenation is present. In turn, the
hemoglobin captures the CO2 that has been administered
to the body. This action is manifested through the increase of the
speed of flow and the opening of the capillaries, which are virtual
usually closed under paraphysiological conditions.
The effects of the CO2 are demonstrated by studies
carried out under the inclination of microangiological investigations-
(Videocapilaroscopia with probe optics). They show active capillary
and venular vasodilation and an increase of the tesitura microvascular.

THE
DERMOCELL CARBOXI EQUIPMENT
The
CARBOXI unit was created under scientific investigation, which guarantees
a sure and easy handling of the equipment.
The novel technique of the employment of CO2 combined with high quality,
technological advancement, makes the Carboxi equipment a powerful
tool for the medicine and the aesthetics field. The incorporation
of high quality materials and the incorporation of high precision
sensors manufactured under the parameters of quality control, allow
the guarantee of a high level device dedicated to the use of professionals
in the aesthetics and medical field. Some of the special technical
features of the Dermocell Carboxi equipment are:
LCD
screen with (Back Light) for optimum reading of the treatment variables,
even in dim or dark areas.
• totally digital operating system, controlled by a microcomputer
that provides great accuracy in the execution parameters.
• digital reading of the air pressure of entering and leaving
the unit.
• The unit has a security alarm for the user in the event of
non- appropriate pressure for the equipment. • MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC operation modes that
it allows the user to program the dosage of CO2 to the patient according
to the area to be treated.
